Elsen Cheng, born and raised in San Francisco, CA, earned his Juris Doctor degree from Western State University College of Law in 2006. Prior to law school, he attended the University of California in Santa Cruz where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies in 2003.

Having worked under different capacities in numerous legal organizations such as Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, Orange County Public Defender's Office, Asian Pacific American Legal Center and Asian Law Alliance, Elsen Cheng has a diverse perspective on various legal issues.
